Test results

Nanobubbles (Ultrafine bubbles) are said to be non-toxic and biocompatible materials. Several safety tests have been conducted regarding drinking water, but the longest duration was 12 weeks* (the cited studies used oxygen and air Nanobubbles). We conducted this study because we believe it is necessary to evaluate long-term drinking safety in more detail to expand future medical applications.

In this joint research with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kobe Gakuin University, we used the Nanobubbles, NanoGAS®️, manufactured using the proprietary technology developed and patented by Shinbiosis Corporation, to verify the safety of consuming hydrogen-encapsulated Nanobubbles (Hydrogen NanoGAS®️) water for 1 and 3 months through pathological and histological examination of blood, digestive system, and metabolic organs.

[Verification method]

Mice were given Natural Mineral water (MW), RO water which is the source water for NanoGAS, and Hydrogen NanoGAS®️ water to drink for 1 and 3 months, respectively. The food intake, water intake, and body weight were measured periodically, and on the last day of breeding, a General blood test and pathological and histological examination of the digestive system and metabolic organs were performed.

Result

In the General blood test of the respective breeding groups at 1 and 3 months, no difference was confirmed among the types of water for all measured values, and no effect from drinking Hydrogen NanoGAS®️ water was observed.

From these results, we revealed that drinking Hydrogen NanoGAS®️ water for up to 3 months does not show toxicity to the living body, and that Hydrogen NanoGAS®️ water is a body-friendly material.

Furthermore, no significant difference was observed among the types of water for food intake, water intake, or body weight in any of the periods or test groups. However, comparing the food intake during the first and second halves of the breeding period for the 3-month breeding group, an increasing trend in food intake was observed in the Hydrogen NanoGAS®️ water group during the latter half of the breeding period (no significant difference). Drinking oxygen Nanobubble water has been reported to have a growth-promoting effect*1. Since there are also reports*2 that energy metabolism improved through the consumption of saturated hydrogen water, continuous drinking of Hydrogen NanoGAS water may be a good tool for maintaining these metabolisms.
