Purpose

To study the toxicity of a single oral dose of hydrogen NanoGAS® water and ozone NanoGAS® water in rats.

[Methods

Six-week-old female rats, fasted for approximately 18 hours prior to administration, were divided into groups of three rats each.

A single forced oral dose of hydrogen NanoGAS® water and ozone NanoGAS® water at a volume of 20 mL/kg was administered, followed by 14 days of live/dead, general condition, and weight measurements, and a necropsy at the end of the observation period.

A control group was also established in which tap water was administered in the same volume.

[Notation] [Notation

In the following table, “UFB Water A” refers to “Ozone NanoGAS® Water,” “UFB Water B” refers to “Hydrogen NanoGAS® Water,” and “Tap Water” refers to tap water in the control group.

No deaths occurred during the 14-day observation period.

Detailed results are shown in Table 1.

Table 1: Life and Death Situations

During the 14-day period of observation, no cases of abnormal behavior were observed.

Detailed results are shown in Table 2.

Table 2. general state of affairs

During the 14-day observation period, weight gain was observed, but there was no difference between the groups with respect to weight gain.

Detailed results are shown in Table 3.

Table 3: Weighing Status

No gross abnormalities were observed in any of the animals on the external surface of the body or in any of the organs/tissues of the head, chest, and abdomen.

Detailed results are shown in Table 4.
